The majority of our staff have been here for an average of 10 years, with one member of staff, Pete, being here for 55 years. Folks tend to come and stay.
If you love baking and bakery products we are sure you'll find here a great place to work, laugh and moan.
There are a wide range of roles at Fosters Bakery: bakers, confectioners, packers, dispatchers, truck and van drivers, food technologists, admin staff, sales reps, mechanical and electrical engineers, fork truck drivers and cleaning staff.
Our values are open-mindedness, integrity and loyalty; and these are qualities we expect of all our staff. Our drive is to make sure that we make and deliver the best baked products for our customers in a timely manner.
Our products are enjoyed throughout the world; we have customers in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and even some more unusual places! You could be making these tasty bakery treats for the whole world.
We appreciate that some people prefer the flexibility and variety offered by agency work.
We prefer direct employment rather than agency working.
We think agency work is OK for pre-determined period such as the run up to Christmas
